The B.R.I.D.G.E.S. students visited Dolphin Mall to practice real‑world independence skills! They used the mall directory to locate stores, planned routes with peers and navigated the mall using teamwork and problem‑solving. Students also practiced budgeting and decision‑making by selecting a Mother’s Day gift or items for Grad Bash, discussing needs vs. wants, and making thoughtful purchases. At the food court, they applied independence skills by choosing a restaurant, reading menus, and placing their own orders.
Another great week of hands‑on learning and confidence‑building!
