The B.R.I.D.G.E.S. students enjoyed a peaceful afternoon at Weston Regional Park, participating in a guided yoga and mindfulness session surrounded by the trees.
Through stretching, focused breathing, and grounding techniques, students practiced being present, managing stress, and strengthening the connection between mind and body, all while enjoying some fresh air.
After yoga, the class wrapped up the outing with a picnic style lunch, providing additional opportunities to practice social communication, cooperation, and relaxation in a natural setting. A perfect blend of wellness, nature, and social skill building!
A heartfelt thank you to Michell Llovet with Mindful Movements for Life, for an empowering experience that showed the students how meaningful mindful practices can be. All the students absolutely loved it! Namaste!
